"I'm siiiiiiiiinging in the rain. Just siiiiiiinging in the rain." Even after 63 years, Singin' in the Rain is a must on any rainy day activity list. What sane person can say no to some Gene Kelly. At this point you might as well commit to singing along on your couch while wearing your galoshes. It is available for rent or purchase on Amazon Instant Video.

Why should you watch? The show is far from flawless, but it will hold you to the edge of your seat, and make you want to immediately press play on that next episode.

The current season of American Horror Story, Hotel, is full of glamour, gore and Gaga -- and Parents Television Council just called it the most vile and shocking content." But the series started with the story of a seemingly normal family facing real life problems (before things got weird, of course).

You're so dramatic

Elliot Alderson, the lonely hacker genius at the center of USA Network's Mr. Robot, is the least reliable of narrators. But Rami Malek, who plays Alderson, is so brilliant at showing you the world through Elliot's eyes that you don't really care (by the way, if there's some kind of Best Eye Actor award, Malek's a wild-eyed shoo-in). Elliot works in cyber-security, becomes enmeshed with a team of hackers aiming to take down a huge corporation and does some hacking-based moral vigilantism. Oh, he's also addicted to morphine. And Christian Slater is finally in something really good again. Just catch up on Hulu already.
