Having thoroughly conquered YouTube, the dudes from Dude Perfect are heading to an even bigger platform: their own TV show on CMT.
Dude Perfect is five trick-shot artists who work out of way-cool offices in Frisco. Their new show is coming in 2016, CMT announced Thursday. According to CMT, the show will involve stunts (of course), comedy and celebrity guests. It will follow them as they work in their Frisco HQ on all their fun projects.
In the CMT statement, Dude Perfect said:
"We are super excited to be working with Superjacket and CMT on the series. We have fans from all over the world constantly asking us for more visibility into the daily lives of Dude Perfect and how we get to work with these amazing athletes, entertainers and iconic sports venues. This show will regularly take fun to the next level and allow the viewers to virtually join us and be part of our incredible journeys," said Dude Perfect.
The show is being produced by Superjacket, the production company of Rob Dyrdek of MTV fame.
So who are these guys again?
Dude Perfect is Tyler Toney, Cody Jones, Garrett Hilbert and twins Coby and Cory Cotton. They joined forces while in college at Texas A&M. Toney and Hilbert hail from Prosper, and Jones is from Plano. The Cotton twins are from The Woodlands, the non-North Texans of the group. They made their first video in 2009, and it all exploded from there.
What are their must-see videos?
There are, of course, a ton of videos on their YouTube channel, which has 6.6 million subscribers. Here are a few of their most popular:
