'From the Hip' gets serious about Baltimore, still building up 'Empire'

Each week we talk about news that we're going to use. This week is no different, as Tawnell and I take our break between stories to talk about Empire and Scandal and what's in The News.

While TV is allowing some escape from reality, there is Baltimore and the constant stream of things to talk about that have implications far beyond the city limits. And then there's Collin County, which has opened a DIY divorce center. And then there is much more.

That includes sausage sandwiches; guess which one of us says they're "cute." It all leads to one question: "What are you doing this weekend?"
