Spend San Jacinto Day with an exclusive sneak peek at History's 'Texas Rising'

I have yet to see a second of History's miniseries Texas Rising miniseries, the Alamo retelling that bows May 25, and already it's clear it's The Greatest Thing in The History of Everything.

Just look at that cast:  Fort Worth native son Bill Paxton as Sam Houston.  Ray Liotta as Lorca (an Alamo survivor hell-bent on revenge, because of course).  Jeff Fahey as The Lawnmower Man as Thomas Jefferson Rusk.  Brendan Fraser as "a Texas Ranger with Comanche Indian ties." Thomas Jane as "a homesteader who finds himself living in the middle of hostile Indian territory."  Dr. Joel Fleischman as Colonel James Walker Fannin.  Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Deaf Smith.  Kris Kristofferson as Andrew Jackson.

This is Crispin Glover. No, seriously.

And Crispin Hellion Glover as ... look, does it really matter? Because I will watch anything with Crispin Glover, especially an 10-hour miniseries about the Texas Revolution.

Anway. We'll have much more about it 'round the Memorial Day debut. Until then, History was kind enough to offer us this brief but exclusive Texas Rising teaser titled -- wait for it -- "Don't Mess With Texas." It starts airing on the network tomorrow night. You can see it first right now:
