Maisie Williams of 'Game of Thrones' will be a guest star on 'Doctor Who'

Arya Stark has stumbled into the Tardis. The BBC has announced Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams will be a guest star on the upcoming season of Doctor Who.

"We're thrilled to have Maisie Williams joining us on Doctor Who," Executive Producer Steven Moffat said. "It's not possible to say too much about who or what she's playing, but she is going to challenge the Doctor in very unexpected ways. This time he might just be out of his depth, and we know Maisie is going to give him exactly the right sort of hell."

Williams won't be the first example of Doctor Who and Game of Thrones colliding (Thomas Brodie-Sangster was in a couple episodes of the show during the David Tennant era), but she's the most notable. Her character in Game of Thrones is a fan favorite, and it will be interesting to see how Doctor Who uses her talents.
