James Franco to star in miniseries of Stephen King’s ’11/22/63′ — will they film in Dallas?

Variety is reporting that Oscar- and Golden Globe-nominated James Franco is set to star in a Hulu original miniseries based on Stephen King's 2011 best-seller 11/22/63 - in which the protagonist figures out how to travel through time and goes back to stop Lee Harvey Oswald from killing President John F. Kennedy in Dallas on that fateful day.

So our big question: Will they film in Dallas? You'd think they'd want to, what with Dealey Plaza, Oak Cliff, Fort Worth and all the other important sites in the story here.

The thriller, which will be a nine-hour miniseries, is being produced by J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions and Warner Bros. TV.

King, who'll be an executive producer on the show, said, "If I ever wrote a book that cries out for longform, event-TV programming, 11/22/63 is it."
