Well dice me up and roll me in a crust -- the hot dog pizza has taken America by storm. It's one of the greatest- and grossest-sounding things to ever hit mainstream, but people all over the Internet have been inspired by Pizza Hut's latest release (which we recently tried) and have decided to take the franks into their own hands.

See some of our favorite examples below. And if you've hand-crafted one of these crazy concoctions, tweet us a pic or send one to GuideLive via Facebook. But if you're feeling lazy, Pizza Hut begins offering this monster Thursday, June 18.

The Dallas Observer tasked Oak Cliff pizza place Zoli's with making its own version.

It comes stuffed with Italian sausage from chef Brian Luscher, brisket from Pecan Lodge, pork rib from Casa Rubia, milk-braised pork from FT33 and a pork "Ed Gein" mask from Lucia. The crust is made with Luscher's Red Hots, which are stuffed in Zoli's garlic knots. O-M-G!

Behold...HOGZILLA!

Some Austinites gave the hot dog pizza a vegan twist and created a video to show how:

This is the most beautiful mac 'n cheese pizza I've ever seen. By the way, it's also vegan.

This one actually looks pretty tasty. It has that homemade-chic thing going on.

They said it couldn't be done. #hotdogpizza

Creativity definitely not lacking in this interpretation.

We call this one the surprise hot dog crust.

This pizza is called the Frankenslice and was created by a quirky dude who works for Fresno, California's minor league baseball team, the Grizzlies. It was actually released in May, before the Pizza Hut one.
