Experience the history and spirit of the West at Lewisville's annual Western Days festival. Attractions include live entertainment on five stages, a Western village, gunfight re-enactments and the World Tamale Eating Championship (Saturday at 1 p.m.). The festival also includes a Kid Kountry playground, arts & crafts vendors, festival food, a car show and the Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Cattle Drive Parade.
Brett Young headlines the music lineup on Friday. Saturday's headliner is the Josh Abbot Band.
Admission is free until 7 p.m. $10 after 7 p.m. Children 9 and younger are admitted free anytime.
