A lunchtime parade through Fair Park celebrates the opening of the 2019 State Fair of Texas The festive procession includes colorful floats, drill teams, bands and plenty more to get you in the fairgoing spirit. The parade steps off at noon and will wind through the fairgrounds. Great vantage points for parade watching include the lagoon across from Cotton Bowl Plaza, the Band Shell, the steps of the Hall of State and Big Tex Circle.
