Join in a free and lively hymn-singing session with members of the Hymn Society, who have gathered in Dallas for their annual conference. Tonight's festival features hymns in the African American tradition and is led by Atlanta-based organist Dr. Tony McNeill.
The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, founded in 1922, is a broadly ecumenical
organization representing nearly 50 Christian denominations. Its members include scholars, students,
hymn writers, composers, songwriters, pastors, music directors, song leaders, publishers, and others
dedicated to encouraging, promoting, and enlivening congregational song.
