The film festival showcases 55 of the best independent films about the African continent and African culture. The five-day fest runs June 27 through June 29 with screenings, African storytelling, acting workshops (SMU), symposium on African cinema (SMU), and an Awards Gala (Moody Performance Hall). Single film tickets are $10. Day and festival passes are also available.
