Red, White and Boom Parade and Yankee Doodle Block Party

The city's July 4th celebration starts downtown with a hometown parade at 10 a.m. followed by free family activities at a block party and a classic car, truck and cycle show from 1 to 5 p.m. Many Downtown McKinney merchants and restaurants will offer special Fourth of July deals.

Activities at Craig Ranch start at 5:30 p.m. with music, food, kids' activities and a big fireworks show at 9:45 p.m.
