Enjoy a July Fourth celebration with activities for families, live entertainment, festival food vendors and fireworks at 9 p.m. Presented by the cities of DeSoto and Lancaster, admission is free. Bring lawn chairs/blankets and hear music performed by jazz saxophonist Don Diego and R&B artist Chrisette Michele ("Be OK"). Gates open at 4 p.m.
