DeSoto Public Library’s “Summer Book Buddies Program” will take place Tuesday mornings from 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. in June and July. As part of the program, teen volunteers from the community read with a buddy ages 4-11 to develop and enhance their reading and comprehension skills. The sessions are split into two with 45 minutes of reading time and a 45 minute enrichment activity afterward. Children that complete the program will participate in a "Book Buddies" Ending Party.
