2nd Annual McKinney St. Patrick's Day Festival and Shamrock Run

9 a.m. -- Shamrock Run 5K: The start and finish line will be in front of Tupps Brewery located at the historic McKinney Cotton Mill.

10 a.m. Festival: Also taking place at Tupps Brewery, the festival will feature food, green beer from Tupps Brewery, a photo-booth, costume contests, a marketplace with more than 50 vendors, performances by groups from local Irish dance academies, and concerts by two Irish bands.

The festival is free to attend. The run is $30. And a beer pass, which includes three pints and a koozie, is $20. A complimentary shuttle will depart from downtown McKinney at the Chestnut Commons parking garage at Virginia and Chestnut starting at 10 a.m.
