A new three-part series explores ways to jump outside your comfort zone and open up to new ideas. The events are free with preregistration.

Feb. 26 -- Language, the first session is hosted at the Dallas Morning News auditorium and features author and adventurer Anna Badkhen in conversation with journalist Tom Huang, assistant managing editor of The News. There will be a reception at 6:30 p.m. and the main event is held from 7-8:30 p.m.

March 26 -- Art, the second session features Jin-Ya Huang, mixed media artist and founder of Break Bread, Break Borders and will be held in the Pan-African Connection Bookstore. The event will be held from 7-7:30 p.m.

April 30 -- The City, the third session, will be held at the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture. There will be a reception at 6:30 p.m. and the main event is held from 7-8:30 p.m.

Boundaries and Borders is presented by the Dallas Institute, the Dallas Morning News, PEN America, and the Dallas Festival of Books and Ideas.
