Beginning at Main Street Garden and its perfect view of some of Dallas’ most important buildings, your trained tour guide will lead you on a walk and discussion of a variety of architectural icons, including:
• Adolphus Hotel
• Magnolia Building
• the Statler
• Wilson Building

Along the way, see examples of Beaux Art, Art Deco, Post-Modernist, Renaissance Revival and Victorian design, and learn how they were adapted specifically for a rapidly growing metropolis. Additionally, hear about some of the institutions, individuals and visionaries who made it all happen. Presented by AD EX, the Architecture and Design Exchange.

Tours last approximately 2 hours and are held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, rain or shine. Tickets are $15 for adults / $8 for 65+ and students (with I.D.). Children 11 and younger are free when accompanied by an adult. Reservations and payment must be made in advance; no walk-ups.
