Nostalgia is so now, particularly for Gen Z -- the youngsters born between the mid-nineties and mid-aughts -- so, travel back in time through film this Christmas season at two of Dallas’ most retro (in a good way) historic theaters. The five-movie series kicks off with 'National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation' (1989) and 'Edward Scissorhands' (1990) at the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff before moving downtown for screenings of 'Home Alone' (1990), 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' (1993) and 'It’s A Wonderful Life' (1946) at the Majestic Theatre.

See five classic holiday movies screening in December at the historic Texas and Majestic theaters. Admission is $10 per movie, or buy a $35 series pass that gets you into all five movies.
