Grand Tree Lighting and Ice Show

Nov 23, 2018 - Dec 21, 2018

Get in the holiday spirit as the 95-foot Christmas tree, billed as the largest indoor Christmas tree in the country, lights up with 400,000 twinkling LEDs, 10,000 ornaments and a 10-foot star on top. Then, look out for Missile Toes, the Galleria's ice-skating Santa, as he glides on the ice rink turning backflips as pyrotechnics shoot from his boots. Missile Toes will be joined on the ice by one or more Olympic ice skaters at each show.

There will be six tree lightings and ice shows: Friday, Nov. 23, at noon and Saturdays, Nov. 24-Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.
The Dec. 22 performance will feature 2018 Olympic Team Gold Medalist Keegan Messing of Canada with American pairs team Ashley Cain and Timothy LeDuc, Missile Toes and 100 area youth skaters.

The tree’s daily Illumination Celebration light shows will be set to music every day from Nov. 23 through Dec. 24. Other attractions in the Galleria mall include DFW Rescue Me pet adoptions, the Salvation Army Angel Tree, holiday musical performances and menorah lightings.
