Oktoberfest at Oak Highlands Brewery
Brentney Hamilton Recommends
Go for the beer and stay for the brats at this 4th annual German-themed party at OHB. Enjoy music, lawn games, stein holding contests at 2 and 4 p.m. and hammer-schlagen throughout the day. (That’s a game where players compete to drive opponents’ nails into a stump before their own are driven in; players’ number of hits per turn are determined by performing complicated hammer flips.) Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the brewery, and ten percent of all Oktoberfest beer sales will benefit Bridge Breast Network to provide breast cancer screenings and treatment for low-income, uninsured women in North Texas.
Guest will be drinking for a good cause, as OHB has teamed up with Bridge Breast Network. Ten percent of all Oktoberfest beer sales will benefit this nonprofit which provides breast cancer screenings and treatment for low-income, uninsured women in North Texas.
As always, well-behaved children and dogs are always welcome in the brewery.
