Stroll through the booths of one of North Texas’ most prestigious and respected fine arts exhibitions at this 49th semi-annual juried arts festival in Richardson. Featuring museum-quality work by 240 artists -- chosen from 800 total submissions from around the country -- the visual arts lineup features a variety of mediums such as ceramics, photography, metalwork, painting, glass, 3D mixed media, sculpture and wood. Visit the craft beer garden, purchase food and souvenirs from vendors, hear live blues, rock, country and jazz by musicians on dual stages, and support the next generation of artists in a children’s area where kids can paint, weave with yarn and sculpt clay on a real potter’s wheel.

The twice-a-year Cottonwood Art Festival, now in its 50th year, is a juried art show with fine art created by more than 200 artists from around the world. Browse the booths and meet the artists. Visit the Lakeside Courtyard for live music, craft beer garden, food trucks and more. Kids can create their own masterpieces in the children’s art area. Admission and parking are free.
