The Dallas Pride celebration, now in its 35th year, kicks off on Saturday with the Miller Lite Music Festival in Reverchon Park. The family fun gathering features performances by the Rose Room Cast, Thea Austin and Asia O'Hara. Also on the lineup are the 2018 Voice of Pride winners, American Idol contestants David Hernandez and Effie Passero, and DJ Deanne. Festival activities include a Teen Pride area and Family Pride Zone with age-appropriate activities for teens, families and kids.

Admission is $10 online or at the gate (cash only). Free admission for children 13 and younger (accompanied by an adult).

Dallas Pride continues on Sunday with the Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade will start at 2 p.m. traveling down Cedar Springs from Wycliff to Turtle Creek Blvd. The parade is free for spectators.
