Star Spangled Spectacular

Firewheel Town Center, in partnership with the City of Garland, will proudly celebrate our nation’s independence with an afternoon full of free family fun at the Star-Spangled Spectacular on Thursday, July 4 from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Guests who visit will enjoy bounce houses, obstacle courses, food trucks, face painting, caricature artists, balloon twisters, prizes, giveaways, strolling entertainment and great family fun.

Festivalgoers can move to the beat with the 92.1 Hank FM Party Patrol from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tunes will continue with a live performance by Hi Definition on the Main Stage near Houlihans from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Boy Scouts of America will take the stage at 9 p.m. to conduct a special Flag Presentation Ceremony followed by a National Anthem performance. At 9:15 p.m. spectacular, show-stopping fireworks, choreographed to an exciting arrangement of patriotic songs, will light up the sky and everyone’s eyes. Attendees should prepare for a wonderful show with an enhanced finale. Star-Spangled Snacks will be available for guests to enjoy throughout the event, plus a variety of Food Trucks will be open for business offering your favorite festival-type foods. Patrons are encouraged to bring sunscreen as well as their own chairs and blankets. Coolers, open alcohol containers and pop-up tents will not be allowed. Early arrival is suggested, as onsite parking is limited. DART transportation will be available.
