Shannon Sutlief Recommends
Jazz won’t be the only music coming from this festival’s seven stages. Expect rock, blues, country, Tejano, folk and more as dozens of acts take the mike, including professional bands, ensembles from the University of North Texas’ College of Music and community groups. This year’s headliners will be jazz trumpeter Randy Becker on April 27, California rock band Los Lobos on April 28 and hometown heroes and princes of polka Brave Combo on April 29. There'll also be a children’s art area, a percussion petting zoo, rock climbing, face painting, inflatables and more.
Friday: Ravi Coltrane Quartet
Saturday: Taj Mahal & the Phantom Blues Band
Sunday: Brave Combo
