Watch seven short films from last year’s festival without those bothersome celebrities, snowy weather and long lines. The shorts, which range in length from five minutes to 19, include Kristen Stewart’s Come Swim, which was scored by former Dallasite St. Vincent; 5 Films About Technology, a comedy about our dependence on devices; and Ten Meter Tower, a documentary in which people standing on a diving board about 33 feet above water must decide to jump or climb down the ladder. Arrive early for Show Your Shorts, a program in which 10 filmmakers will introduce and show their works on the big screen. Entries were selected on a first-come, first-served basis via Facebook.

The 2017 Sundance Film Festival Short Film Tour is a 95-minute theatrical program of seven short films selected from the Sundance Film Festival, widely considered the premier showcase for short films and the launchpad for many now-prominent independent filmmakers for more than 30 years. Including fiction, documentary and animation from around the world, the 2017 program offers new audiences a taste of what the Festival offers, from laugh-out-loud comedy to contemplative reflections of the world we live in. Program co-presented by the 2018 Oak Cliff Film Festival.
