UPDATE: Organizers say that any weather-related decisions to delay or cancel the event will be made on the morning of April 13 and posted on Facebook.
Amateur boat builders 8 and older are challenged with designing, building and navigating boats made entirely of corrugated cardboard. The handcrafted cardboard creations either sail or sink in Hurricane Harbor’s wave pool as riders compete for a variety of trophies. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the crews or partake in activities in the game areas, including horseshoes, corn hole, hula hooping and bubbles. Attendees can also enjoy a few select rides such as the Tornado, Tsunami Surge, Typhoon Twister and Hook’s Lagoon.

Event-day admission is $8. Pre-purchase tickets at River Legacy Living Science Center for $6 by April 12. All proceeds benefit River Legacy Foundation and the educational programs of River Legacy Living Science Center.
