Luis Miguel is leaving an indelible mark on the world of pop music — so much so that in April, Telemundo premiered Luis Miguel La Serie, a “fully authorized” TV drama about the life of the man they call El Sol de México (The Sun of Mexico). And that’s just one hallmark in a life filled with many: a historic Grammy at the age of 14, with others to follow; Billboard Music Awards; Latin Grammys; a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; and a hopelessly devoted fanbase that spans generations and sighs at every move of the famously tries-to-be-private superstar. The Puerto Rico-born, Mexico-raised crooner started his journey to hearts and minds in 1982. He’s never let up and it doesn’t seem as if he will. This tour is in support of 2017 album !Mexico Por Siempre! (Mexico Forever), which soared high like other seminal albums that include Segundo Romance and the Billboard history-making Complices. The indefatigable Miguel, whose style spans almost every genre, is known for long tours that roam the world for years at a time. Lucky you; he’s carved out some time in his busy schedule to shine on Dallas. -- Dawn M. Burkes
