It’s Texas’ birthday, y’all. Well, one of them, anyway. (We’ve had six flags, remember.) Celebrate the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836 with a night of music by the Texas Gentlemen, a group that Dallas Morning News music critic Kelly Dearmore called “the most exciting and promising country act to emerge from Dallas in recent years.” The show is free with R.S.V.P., and the bill will also include musician Dan Dyer and two sets by DJ David Grover from Spinster Records.

Get your Texas on at this free (with RSVP) celebration featuring live music and a Texas-themed drink and food menu. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the core musicians of The Texas Gentlemen - Beau Bedford, Daniel Creamer, Nik Lee, Ryan Ake, Scott Lee, Dan Dyer - taking the stage shortly after.
