Mansfield's holiday festival kicks off on Friday, Nov. 30, with ice-sledding, a petting zoo, live entertainment, food, a holiday market, penguins from the Dallas Zoo and Santa. The tree lighting and fireworks take place at 6:30 p.m. in front of City Hall and festival fun continues until 9 p.m.
Activities continue on Saturday with the Fa La La 5k at 9 a.m., a holiday parade at 2 p.m. and a concert by Crowder benefiting the Mansfield Independent School District Center Arts Program at 8 p.m.
