Santa’s yearly business travel takes him all over the world, so it’s no surprise to learn he picked up a few scuba lessons in the Caribbean over the years. This quirky dive during four days in December features St. Nick and a jolly underwater elf, swimming among fish, sharks and stingrays in the aquarium’s 160,000-gallon ocean tank. Stand near the glass for a photo with Santa in the background; he’ll raise a sign that says either “naughty” or “nice,” depending on your demeanor. Kids can also meet and get a photo with Santa Sharky — Sea Life’s toothsome mascot, dressed in seasonal garb — and write holiday cards to their favorite sea creatures.

SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium is swimming in holiday cheer this December. Experience a dive show like no other as Scuba Diving Santa, along with his elf, make a jolly appearance in a water wonderland amongst the fish, sharks and stingrays in SEA LIFE's 160,000-galloon ocean tank. Pose for pictures and find out if Scuba Diving Santa thinks you’ve been naughty or nice. Other festive fishy activities include a meet and greet with Santa Sharky, finding the aquarium’s mischievous elf Minnow and snapping a selfie, and writing holiday cards to your favorite sea creature. Scheduled dives occur at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays, December 12, 15, 19 and 22. Holiday activities are included in the price of admission.
