More than ever, it’s difficult for new voices in the Texas country scene to be heard above the established stars. The reasons are both fair and unfair and generally add up to this: New talent needs deep pockets to get great concert bookings and big-time exposure. Unless you’re Koe Wetzel, that is. Over the past year, the East Texas-native has become the hottest ticket in the state, thanks to an irreverent, DIY attitude. His rock licks reminiscent of Cross Canadian Ragweed’s glory days certainly help.

Born and raised in East Texas, Koe Wetzel is rapidly gaining momentum in the Texas scene. The band brings a strong mixture of southern rock energy and East Texas charm. Doors open at 6 p.m.
