Come celebrate one of China’s most popular holidays at the Dallas Arboretum, including lantern decorating and letter writing to family members who live far away. At a special Arboretum After Hours, families are encouraged to picnic together on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn and food trucks will be at the bottom of the lawn. Special lanterns are available for guests to decorate and release from their own homes.

10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Activities in the Children’s Adventure Garden & Main Garden
6-8 p.m. – Lantern Decoration in the Main Garden

On Wednesdays through Oct. 25, the Dallas Arboretum will offer buy one get one free general admission, available at the ticket booth only, with a limit of one purchase per person. Regular day-time admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for children 3-12, and free for children two and under. Additional cost of $3 per person for entrance into the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden. On-site parking is $15; pre-purchased online parking is $8.
