For this fun and funky fundraiser, 15 designers will partner with restaurants and other food businesses to create outfits that are at least 10 percent made from restaurant supplies, both edible and not, and can stay together for a walk down the runway. Garments from past events have included a bridal gown made from coffee filters, a dress made from Jack in the Box wrappers and spoons, and a form-fitting blouse made from cabbage leaves. Tasty! The party will also include host Ron Corning from WFAA-TV (Channel 8), music by Durty Laundry, cocktails and a silent auction.

Cuisine meets couture when Food in Fashion returns for its 2018 edition.

Fashion designers partner with restaurants to create fashions for models in a Project Runway-styled show. Ten percent or more of each fashion must come from the restaurant... whether edible or not.

Presented by volunteers for the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association, proceeds benefit the 501(c)(3) Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation and its ProStart program in Dallas ISD.
