Arturo's Art and Me: Kings and Queens

Students and parents from Hexter Elementary School in Dallas toured the Dallas Museum of Art Tuesday afternoon. Maxwell Anderson, Dallas Museum of Art Director, announced Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012, that the DMA will offer free admission and free memberships, making it the first art museum in the coutry to do so.

For a 3–5 year old and a favorite grown-up! Adults and young children listen to a story, look at works of art, and play hands-on games in the Museum galleries before creating an original work of art in the Art Studio. Taught by Museum education staff. Class size is limited to 18 children.

In December, search for art from the ancient Americas fit for a king or queen, and then work in the studio to make a royal work of art.
