Toddler Art: Crazy for Color

Students and parents from Hexter Elementary School in Dallas toured the Dallas Museum of Art Tuesday afternoon. Maxwell Anderson, Dallas Museum of Art Director, announced Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012, that the DMA will offer free admission and free memberships, making it the first art museum in the coutry to do so.

This event has already happened

For 2 and 3 year olds and a favorite grown-up. We'll explore works of art in the galleries and then play with our new friends in Arturo's Nest, the Museum's kid-friendly space. Taught by Museum education staff. Class size is limited to 18 children.

Red, yellow, blue, and green—how many colors in art can you see? In December's class, explore colorful works of art in the collection, and then create your own rainbow-worthy masterpiece.
