Arturo's Art and Me: Language of Flowers

Students and parents from Hexter Elementary School in Dallas toured the Dallas Museum of Art Tuesday afternoon. Maxwell Anderson, Dallas Museum of Art Director, announced Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012, that the DMA will offer free admission and free memberships, making it the first art museum in the coutry to do so.

This event has already happened

For a 3–5 year old and a favorite grown-up! Adults and young children listen to a story, look at works of art, and play hands-on games in the Museum galleries before creating an original work of art in the Art Studio. Taught by Museum education staff. Class size is limited to 18 children.

In November, take a crash course in decoding the language of flowers, and use your newfound detective skills to unravel the meanings of floral masterpieces in the galleries.
