Representatives from tribes across the country will celebrate American Indian culture at this 56th annual festival. Dancers in full regalia will perform traditional dances, and guests can browse wares from artists, craftsmen and traders, purchase American Indian cuisine and see cultural exhibits like a “glimpse of tipi life.”

DFW Inter-Tribal Association presents 56th annual celebration of American Indian culture and heritage. Dozens of tribes from across the United States will be represented.

During the weekend, dancers in full regalia, from children to adults, will compete for prize money in several dance categories. Performances take place Friday, 8 to 10 p.m.; Saturday, 1 to 5:30 and 7 to 10 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The celebration of Indian culture and heritage includes artists, craftsmen and traders; a variety of American Indian food booths, a glimpse of tipi life and more.

Admission to Traders Village and the Pow Wow is free. Food, drink and souvenir items are available for purchase. Parking is $4.
