Granbury Paranormal Expo

Ghost hunters, horror, sci-fi, cosplay, fantasy and anything else related to the weird, unexplained and unusual will be on view at the 6th annual Granbury Paranormal Expo, Sept. 30-Oct. 1 on the Square in Granbury,

Special guests:
Charlaine Harris - bestselling author of Sookie Stackhouse novels which inspired HBO's True Blood. The new NBC series Midnight, Texas is based on her book series of the same name.
Ken Gerhard - Renowned cryptozoologist has been featured on the History Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery, truTV, National Geographic, A&E, and other media outlets.

Greg Stephens - Co-founder of Research and Investigation of the Paranormal will be talking on his experiences in holding investigations around Granbury's Square.

Boni Furusho is a mentor to those who have experienced paranormal phenomena and will share some of her own personal experiences.

Another special guest at our event will be Hallie from Hallie's Heroes. This young lady has a rare bone marrow failure that requires a transplant. She now hosts events to add people to the National Bone Marrow Registry in order to find a match for her as well as all the others who need a transplant. Hallie and her group will be appearing at the Granbury Paranormal Expo to take swabs and register people.

Cosplay will also factor heavily in this event. There will be a host of costumed characters, as well as some movie vehicle replicas, for a healthy supply of photo-ops. There will also be a children's cosplay contest on Oct. 1 sponsored by Heroic Inner Kids and hosted by Unwrap the Magic Parties & Events.
