The annual Fly-In brings military, vintage and new aircraft to Terrell Municipal Airport for a full day of fun and history benefiting the No. 1 British Flying Training School Museum in Terrell. Each year, thousands of aviation enthusiasts, local and regional residents attend the Fly-In which kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 8:30 a.m. hosted by the Civil Air Patrol Black Sheep Squadron.

There are activities for all ages, from a kids zone to FighterJets Inc. in their “CheckSix” MiG-17F, a P-51 Mustang (Pecos Bill), an A-26 (Lady Liberty), and more. Car and motorcycle shows, flyovers of vintage and modern aircraft and guest speakers, including Sir Winston Churchill’s great-grandson Jonathan Sandys, complete the day. Food vendors will be on site throughout the day.

Gates open at 8:15 a.m. with the posting of American, British and Canadian flags, and close at 5 pm. Tickets are $10 per person or $20 per carload.
