Herbie Hancock

Now in the 6th decade of his professional life, Hancock has had an ever evolving musical career that has included his start as a classical musical prodigy, a sideman in Miles Davis' mid-1960s quintet, jazz-fusion with his Mwandishi band, funk with the Headhunters, and hip-hop on the Future Shock album. In honor of his work, Hancock was awarded the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in February 2016. He is currently in the studio at work on a new album.
