Celebrate Texas culture and heritage at Lewisville’s Western Days festival, Sept. 29-30. The two-day event includes 3 stages for live music and performances, featuring music headliners Turnpike Troubadours and Randy Rogers Band, plus all types of fun activities for the whole family.

Highlights include the World Tamale Eating Championship presented by Market Street, Kid Kountry Playground presented by Castle Hills, a mechanical bull, a working blacksmith, Huffines Auto Dealerships Lewisville Cattle Drive Parade, Castle Hills Culinary Corner, an art exhibit at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater, and much more.

Gates open 5-11:30 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m.-11:30 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free until 7 p.m., $10 after 7 p.m.
