The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden invites dads to celebrate Father’s Day weekend with a classic car show, free iced tea and beer samples, Rick’s Smokehouse BBQ food truck, live music, and a wild bird show.

For the first time, Classic Chassis Car Club Dallas will display more than 20 classic cars Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy live music performances at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn from 2 to 4 p.m. The Vinyl Stripes: Rockabilly Surf Music Band takes the stage on Saturday, and The Blandelles entertain audiences with oldies rock and roll covers on Sunday.

The Volunteer Advisory Board is in the Val Late Garden from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days to capture pictures of special moments, for a donation. Sample craft beer from noon to 3 p.m. at A Tasteful Place. On Sunday, experience the Window to the Wild bird show on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn at 10:30 a.m., free with paid garden admission. The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden will be hosting a puppet show and a Super Dads craft corner all weekend long (while supplies last).
