The Texas Pool is hosting a free Memorial Day party to celebrate freedom and to honor our fallen heroes, veterans, and active duty service men and women. There will be a national moment of remembrance at 3 pm. Performers to be announced soon. Raffle drawings and prizes, cannonball contest, food, traditional pool games and fun.
Coolers welcome, no alcohol please. Snack bar will be open and the grill will be hot. Free admission. Donations encouraged.
The historic Texas pool is a 168,000 gallon saltwater pool shaped like Texas. It is a nonprofit, membership supported community pool with a diving board, two water slides, island, and shallow wading area for small children. The Texas Pool season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
