There are lots of great new films to check out at DIFF this year, but if you're wanting to revisit a stoner classic, go see "Pineapple Express" this Saturday night at Texas Theatre. James Franco and Seth Rogen have always been a hilarious comedy duo, but this film is definitely one of their best duets! AND be sure to head over to Meadows Museum at SMU at 1pm that day for the special Q & A with director David Gordon Green!

In critically acclaimed director David Gordon Green’s PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, a lazy stoner named Dale (Seth Rogen) becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop (Rosie Perez) and the city’s most dangerous drug lord (Gary Cole), he panics and dumps a recently purchased rare strain of weed, Pineapple Express, at the scene. When it turns out the weed is so rare it can be traced back to Dale, and to his dealer Saul (James Franco), the two stoners are left running for their lives—All aboard the Pineapple Express.

Prior to this evening screening, join us for a conversation with L.M.Kit Carson Maverick Award Honoree David Gordon Green at the Meadows Museum at SMU on Saturday April 8 at 1 p.m.
