2nd Annual Shatterproof Challenge Rappel

Among those prepared to rappel 56 stories from the top of iconic Reunion Tower - or 10 stories from the roof of the Hyatt Regency Dallas - are a team of Dallas' top chefs and restaurateurs led by Stephan Pyles. The team also includes Alex Astranti, Katherine Clapner, Molly Mandell, Matt McCallister, Aaron Staudemeier, and Nathan Tate.

Shatterproof is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to reducing the devastation that the disease of addiction causes families. Shatterproof hosts the only national event series focused on reducing the stigma associated with addiction while giving participants an opportunity to come together to support all of those affected by this disease.

Hundreds are expected to rappel, cheered on by crowds of supporters, to raise awareness of today’s opioid epidemic and to change the conversation about addiction.

All funds raised through the event go directly to Shatterproof’s programs around addiction: evidence-based resources for families, state and federal advocacy efforts, and a strong community of families offering support.
