Join us at Summer Expo, a summer camp and resource fair, on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Plano Senior High School Cafeteria, Building C.

This is one of North Texas’ largest summer camp fairs targeting all types of diverse learners, including special needs, typical, and gifted students. More than 70 camps are expected this year. There will be special needs camps for a variety of disabilities – vision, hearing, mobility and cognitive. There will also be gifted camps from major universities that specialize in academic enrichment and leadership skills. There are also many camps of interest to typical as well as gifted kids such as robotics, chess, art, music and many more. The whole family should be able to find a camp that meets their needs and likes.

This is an excellent opportunity to “try a camp on for size” by speaking with actual camp directors, counselors and alumni. There is not just one camp, but a tremendous assortment.

The Summer Camp Expo features a Kids Korral with activities to keep your young ones occupied while you browse the camps. Many of the camps have interactive booths where the kids can be involved in an activity that they might do at the camp.
