Life is cool blue in Blue. Pale Blue and Inky Blue sleep in a blue tent and eat blue cereal with blue spoons. Then, to the horror of Pale Blue and the delight of Inky Blue (the charming Karl Schaeffer and Tiffany Riley, respectively), a piece of red cereal falls in a blue bowl. Under the direction of professional clown Dick Monday, the gentle physical comedy in this 44-minute show kept the kids giggling and, at key points, concerned at the falling out between Pale Blue and Inky Blue over their conflict regarding the new color. The message, never explicitly stated, is a moving call for inclusion.

An all-new show that is perfect for short attention spans and the wee ones! This is a simple story of what happens one day when color comes into your life. Pale Blue and Inky Blue are happy in…well, their blueness. When a red sock enters the picture, Pale and Inky and the audience are surprised by their reaction. If you liked "Balloonacy," you'll love this gentle play that introduces the idea of tolerance and understanding in an age-appropriate and soft-hearted theatrical experience.

Recommended for squirmy toddlers and their families.
