Violinist Karen Gomyo, who has been hailed by the Chicago Tribune as “A first-rate artist of real musical command, vitality, brilliance and intensity,” returns to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra with guest conductor Andrew Grams for a performance of Mozart’s bright and lively “Strassburg” concerto. Also on the program is Shostakovich’s profoundly affecting Symphony No. 11, which recounts events during the start of the first Russian Revolution.
