On Christmas Eve in the small town of Bedford Falls, an angel, Clarence, is assigned to convince the desperate George Bailey that his life matters. George is a good man that sacrificed his dreams and his youth on behalf of the citizens of his small town. Rather than traveling the world and continuing his education, he takes over the family business. Later, he resisted the proposals of the evil banker Mr. Potter, and never sold his business in order to protect his community. He married his beloved Mary Hatch Bailey, and had four children with her. When his uncle Billy loses $8,000, leaving an opportunity for Mr. Potter to take control of the town, George decides he is worth more dead than alive. When Clarence sees that he is not able to persuade George to give up his intention, he decides to show the life in town if George had never existed. Can Clarence save George and earn his wings? Tickets: $15 at GarlandArtsBoxOffice.com, 972-205-2790 or at the door of the Plaza Theatre, one hour prior to the performance.
