The Levee Singers at Pocket Sandwich Theatre
A Dallas favorite, these legends of the ’60s just get better with time, and their popularity proves it. Still doing Dallas proud after more than 50 years, The Levee Singers bring their greatest hits to this special show. Now featuring Ed Bernet, Ralph Sanford, Dave Tanner and Dale Cook, the group first began as the house band at the famed Levee, the SMU-area nightclub, in 1961 and morphed into their current form over the following decades, as they performed at events and venues across the area. They've released several CDs, including The Best Thing, a collection of their most popular tunes, like "Bye Bye Love," "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World," "Sweet Georgia Brown" and more. Start off your week on a high note.
